The ParCo conferences focus on the fundamental aspects of high speed
processing to solve compute intensive and large scale (Big Data)
The conferences aim to give and overview of new developments in the
high speed computing field and offer in-depth discussions of the
underlying parallel computing methods and technologies.
This is achieved by inviting leaders in the field as keynote speakers
to discuss trends and new developments. Mini-symposia on specialised
topics supplement the scientific program. Industrial aspects are
discussed in an Industrial session and exhibition.
The conference objectives are to:
Promote research and development on all aspects of parallel
computing, including architectures, system software, algorithm design,
development tools and software engineering.
Promote the practical implementation of all types of high speed computers in service, research, teaching, industry, etc.
Maintain a high scientific standard of all papers presented.
Accept only peer reviewed papers for publication in the conference proceedings.
Create a platform promoting interaction between researchers and practitioners.
The conference experience
The conference organisers plan the conferences such that a maximum
opportunity is created for delegates to meet and interact with
fellow researchers. The informal nature of the conferences allows for easy
interaction with fellow delegates.
